Problems with SOA Manager - CATS HR Enabled CATS EHP7

Hello All,

We are configuring CATS for HR Renewal ESS & MSS on SAP ERP 6.0 EHP7 ABAP, the solution is based on NWBC, not SAP Portal.

The only official SAP documentation I found pointed to an SAP Wiki, below:

This documentation is made for earlier versions and it makes it difficult to follow.

Currently I my HR team are working hard to assist me, and have confirmed that HR/CATs configuration on ERP is correct.  When we go to ESS and click Record Working Time we get the following error:

"System Error: URL to call the Integration Server is missing on t"

The following steps I have completed:

Create and set the Business System

1. In Solution Manager create the Business System
   • Goto URL <SOLMAN FQDN>:<PORT>/sld
   • Click Business Systems
   • Create a net business System
     • Role: Application System
     • Technical System: ERP Host (select from SLD)
     • Set client.
2. Goto SOAMANAGER on ERP
3. Click Technical Administration --> SAP Client Settings
4. Edit the Service Identifier
   • Enter Organisation Name
   • Click Get from SLD

Enable SICF Services on ERP

1. In ERP activate the appropriate services under /sap/bc/srt/...

Configure the Consumer Service for Employee Time agreement

1. Goto SOAMANAGER on ERP
2. From main menu select Simplified Web Service Configuration
3. Enable Basic/X509/LogonTicket for EETMEAGR_PWTP_EE_QR
4. Goto back to the main menu and select Web Service Configuration
5. Search for EETMEAGR_PWTP_EE_QR
6. For the "binding" select the URL icon
7. Copy the URL from the area called "WSDL URL for Binding"
   • it looks like this:
   • http://<FQDN>:<PORT>/sap/bc/srt/wsdl/flv_10002A111AD1/bndg_url/sap/bc/srt/scs/sap/eetmeagr_pwtp_ee_qr?sap-client=<CLIENT>

Configure the Consumer Proxy for Employee Time Agreement

1. Goto SOAMANAGEr on ERP
2. Search for Web Service CO_CATSEMPLOYEE_TIME_AGREEMENT, open the line item
3. Create WSDL Based Configuration under the define ports section
   • Logical port name CO_CATSEMPLOYEE_TIME_AGREEMENT
   • Under WDSL Information
     • Paste the URL from above
     • Enter the WDSL_USER and password
   • Under binding selection I'm selecting index 36 "binding_soap12" HTTP Basic
   • Under HTTPSettings section "transport binding" I enter
     • URL Access path: /sap/bc/srt/scs/sap/eetmeagr_pwtp_ee_qr?sap-client=<CLIENT>
     • Computer name: <FQDN>
     • Port: <ABAP PORT>
   • Select Finish
   • Test connection passes.
