We were about to start migrating our 7.02 non-Unicode BW system to 7.4 on Hana, including the conversion to Unicode using the SUM DMO function, but the main note http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1813548 about it has just had a comment added :

Currently no Unicode conversion possible
The automatic conversion from a non-Unicode system to a Unicode system during the update with DMO is not possible until further notice. This function will be available again shortly. Check this SAP Note regularly for updates.
Does anyone have anymore information about this such as how long it may be before this function is available again ?
