1. Is it a LIST UIBB? if yes, you need to ti define "line_index"
lwa_message-line_index = 1 "(e.g. the first line has error)
2. If its not a List, then try to change the field to input field temporary, as for my experience only the field input will be highlighted (@experts: please suggest a better idea
